The CT81xx are a family of Tunnel Magneto-Resistance (TMR) digital latch and analogue sensors designed for consumer and industrial applications. They are based on Crocus Technology's patented XtremeSense® TMR technology with an integrated CMOS process to provide a monolithic solution for superior sensor performance.
High sensitivity
The CT81xx series magnetic sensors provide stable magnetic operation over the operating temperature range. With very high sensitivity, the CT81xx products enable the use of larger air gaps or smaller/cost-effective magnets in systems while drawing a supply current of only 110 nA. Therefore, these magnetic sensors are ideal for battery powered products where minimal power consumption is required. The outputs for both the digital latches and analogue sensors are ratiometric, providing greater design flexibility when interfacing to a variety of microcontrollers.
